Covid 19: what are the criteria for the disinfection and protection of medical photographic equipment?

Following the spread of the Covid 19 virus, it has been necessary to implement stringent sterilisation and protection procedures. To stem this epidemic, medical practitioners have had to resort to a gradual and wide-ranging raising of sanitary hygiene standards. The increase in the quality of hygiene standards has significantly affected the healthcare environment and in particular the sterilisation procedures of all instruments which come in contact with the patient. This has also involved photographic equipment, which most of the time is located in close proximity to the patient. The following paper will consider various protocols to minimise the contagion of Covid 19 when using medical photographic equipment.
