How to setup your digital camera?

The correct setting of your digital camera allows repeatable image quality. It is essential not to let the camera control your settings and turn of as much automatic controls as possible to get consistent results every day.

These basic settings work best as starting point for all cameras and might be adjusted to your personal needs:

– Manual Mode (1/250, aperture > 25)
– ISO (lowest)
– Resolution (Image Size) highest
– File Format (Compression) JPEG fine (if available quality priority)
– White Balance  F or 5300 K (+/-)
– Image enhancement set to „neutral“ (Detailkontrast +1.50 Farbton +0.25 Schärfe +2)
– Image Preview on
– Numbering on / Gridlines on
